KPC’s Security Fencing differs from the similar looking Chainlink Agricultural Fence in one important aspect. The Security Fencing system’s key feature is the bent arm design of the posts. These bent arm posts are made from the same precast concrete but the upper bent section can accommodate barbed wire, razor wire or plain wire.
As with KPC’s other chainlink fencing system there are three types of concrete post that make up this simple but very effective security fencing solution. The Strainer posts takes the main tension on the fence and is generally required to be used only at every tenth post position. The Strut post provides additional bracing support for the Strainer posts so that the Strainers stand secure and solid and so that sufficient tension can be applied to the wire mesh. Finally, the Intermediate posts are used to fill remaining post positions.
Because KPC Security Fencing systems use chainlink wire mesh they also comply with another aspect recommended function for security fencing according to Lancashire County Council in their guidance document on the selection of fencing for security purposes-
